We are looking for great deli slicer candidates to join our Firehouse Subs team in Newmarket!

Slicer Responsibilities:
- Uses commercial slicer to slice meats, cheese and vegetables for daily food prep
- Completes all daily food prep with assistance from other crew members
- Ensures consistency of quality, portion control and steaming hot sub presentation.
- Responsible for creating memorable guest experiences.
- Adheres to food handling/safety requirements.
- Maintains an organized, stocked, and sanitary work environment
Required skills and experience:
- **Must be 18+ to use commercial slicer**
- Available mornings and daytime hours, up to 4 days a week including weekends, with the possibility of being assigned other crew shifts as needed, including nights and weekends.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
- Passion for food, service and hospitality.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Able and willing to complete other restaurant functions (ie. Cashier, food preparation, food production).
- Local store marketing/fundraising participation.

No previous experience is required. Initial and ongoing training is provided.
