Job brief
We are looking for a deli chef to join our team so we can expand our food menu. You will be in charge of creation and producing items for the stores specs. This will mean a creative side where you will be allowed to test and create new items. We are looking for some experience in working in kitchens but this is not compulsory. You will be in charge of keeping the kitchen clean and all the necessary paperwork which comes with the
Responsibilities
- Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales
- Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
- Cook food in a timely manner
- Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)
- Monitor food stock and place orders
- Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
- Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £7.67-£15.35 per hour
