The Role
Superb opportunity to join an award-winning leading law firm that offers specialist quality legal advice to a broad range of Private Insurance Clients.
The firm is recognised across the globe for its outstanding client care and high-quality lawyers.
Due to the development and expansion of the firm’s Casualty Team, it is now seeking to appoint a 2–3-year PQE Solicitor to work alongside its existing Casualty Team dealing with Employers and Public Liability claims.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a case load of Employment Liability and Public Liability claims through to trial. There is a steady flow of new instructions from existing clients and the firm is seeking a motivated, technically strong solicitor with ambition, who can develop relationships and provide an exceptional level of service to its clients.
The role will involve handling fast-track and multi-track cases arising from a mixture of employer's liability, public liability and product liability claims alongside assisting an equity partner with their high value multi-track matters.
The firm is based in Manchester and the location is commutable from Huddersfield, Preston, Wigan, Bolton, Macclesfield, Warrington etc.
The Candidate
- A 2–3-year PQE solicitor with experience in managing a caseload of Employment Liability and Public Liability public sector claims through to trial
- Must have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for personal injury claims as the Casualty team work to a very high standard
- Excellent communication skills are essential alongside strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
- High standard of verbal and numerical reasoning
- The ability to analyse, evaluate and communicate information logically is key together with proficient IT skills
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Professional and effective communication with team members and contacts
