The Role
You will be part of a close-knit team working on the Decoration pages of House & Garden magazine, supporting the Decoration Editor and Assistant Decoration Editor with their everyday tasks, photoshoots and monthly deadlines.
What will you be doing?
As part of the Decoration team, these will include but not be limited to:
  • Assisting the team on their photoshoots- both on the day, lead up and afterwards.
  • Calling in images and product loans for features.
  • Writing up crediting information into the House & Garden format and inputting it into our system.
  • Working closely with our Conde Nast Logistics team to book collections and returns for photoshoots; local, nationwide and overseas.
  • Putting together the monthly Wise Buys feature in which you will research, collate and present a page of interiors product.
  • Helping to research, write and build some of our online Decoration content, including Shopping and product galleries and stories.
  • Organising hotel and travel booking for photoshoots and work-related trips.
  • Filing invoices and keeping the costings file up to date.
  • Tidying and organising sample boxes, tool kits and the Decoration work space.
  • Organising the Decoration diary; noting events, appointments and invites.
  • Keeping the Decoration Department archives up to date.
Who you are:
  • A team player on and off set is vital.
  • Being calm under pressure with an ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to take direction and instruction with a want to learn.
  • A developed (or developing) interest in the design world, crafts, art and design history.
  • Clear communication, excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Craft skills are welcomed; ability to sew, draw, paint etc.
Where will you be?
  • We encourage hybrid working but when you are in the office, this role will be primarily based in our iconic Vogue House building, situated in the heart of Mayfair. This is where our award-winning Editorial and Content teams sit. You will work Monday to Wednesday in the office, Thursday and Friday from home- subject to photoshoots, product return days and events.
