Within the H&M Group, Logistics is responsible to make our fashion flow in a sustainable, qualitative and efficient way. We put the customer in focus and our job is about fulfilling the customer promise, creating a great online and in-store shopping experience.
In Autumn 2019 we open the H&M Group’s first OMNI (online and store) Logistics Centre in Milton Keynes (+- 73,000 m²). The Logistics Centre employs over 1000 ambitious, committed and motivated colleagues who share our values and take responsibility for all daily distribution and Logistics operations for the UK/IE online and over 250 stores.
As a HR Generalist, you implement and support all areas of the employee life-cycle and all DC HR related matters.
Responsibilities
Implement and support all Employee Cycle DC HR matters- Act as business partner & support DC leaders in any HR related area
- Ensure DC managers & leaders work with structured performance management guidelines for all employees in the DC
- Support DC Management teams to recruit, assess, coach & train talent
- Ensure all people-related matters are carried out according to local labor law / regulations / work environment / compensation & benefits, & H&M Group standards
- Support local change initiatives; actively participate / support global program roll outs
- Support any HR related project, run values, culture and Inclusion & Diversity activities promoting an I&D culture
Competencies
- Solid knowledge in HR core activities (e.g. training, employee relations, recruitment) as well as DC operations
- Solid functional understanding of role requirements within DC across functions & interdependencies with the region / global organization
- Excellent understanding of group’s values, culture, training initiatives etc.
- Solid understanding of local labor law and regulations
- Strong skills in communication, coordination, conflict resolution, disciplinary concepts and workplace investigations
- Holistic view for the bigger perspective with a visionary approach
- Ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation and people development by empowering others
- Inclusive and empathetic towards others, encouraging diversity
Do You:
- Have previous experience working in HR or as a specialist in ER / Learning & Development / Recruitment
- Have a CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent work experience
- Have a passion for equality and inclusion
- Have excellent leadership skills
- Have a strong influence and inspiration, enabling active coaching in all HR core activities in turn strengthen our Leaders HR knowledge
- Have a self-starter mentality who can hit the ground running
- Have attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks & priorities
