The Dbriefs Assistant Manager role is integral to the successful delivery of our flagship programme, acting as a producer across multiple webcasts as well as supporting the evolution of our offering into new channels.

Supporting the Dbriefs Programme Lead, this role will take ownership of preparing and running webcasts both within the Dbriefs programme and for internal stakeholders. Dbriefs is a flagship programme run on behalf of Deloitte tax professionals across Europe, Middle East and Africa. EMEA Dbriefs offers c. 50-70 webcasts a year and enjoys a considerable client following. The internal webcast programme covers internal strategy and the latest service updates.
The role will interact with senior Deloitte partners, many of whom are overseas, and will require the role holder to be confident and have an engaging manner, excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. The role would appeal to someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and is comfortable using a variety of technology platforms and applications, who works well under pressure and being deadline driven.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a broad programme of client and internal webcasts
- Work closely with stakeholders and speaker teams to ensure the quality, relevance and format of content delivery is consistent.
- Reviewing and proofreading presentations, ensuring collateral is brand compliant
- Preparing registration pages and user interfaces (training to be provided)
- Managing internal webcasts, giving direction and guidance, promoting best practices
- Proactively manage high standards and expectations to uphold the high quality this programme is renowned for
- Preparing reports and analytics
- Working with Tax Growth colleagues to promote the programme more extensively

Essential
- Good communicator who can interact with Deloitte partners and senior stakeholders
- A keen interest in the use of webcast/webinar technology as a delivery tool
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
- Structured and diligent approach to managing activities and tasks
- High attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritise activities in a small team; used to being pro-active and a ‘self-starter’
Desirable
- A keen interest in the use of webcast/webinar technology as a delivery tool
- HTML knowledge and experience would be useful, but not essential
- Experience of working in a fluid and dynamic environment; preferably a partnership/professional services organisation or a sophisticated, matrix structure
- Being able to demonstrate having worked with international/overseas colleagues and teams in the past

Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints.
