Our customers have high standards and so do we. For our last vacancy for 1 role we had 113 people apply. We get approximately 3-6 emails a month from people asking for jobs or work experience so if you want to work for us understand that this is a very sought after role and show this in your application.
What we are looking for in a team member:
- We don’t just want dog lovers - We want people who like dogs and other animals and want to train them to be the best they can be. To help them become confident, well behaved and well mannered members of the canine community.
- We don’t just want people who think this job will be good for them - we want people who really want to start or continue a career in dog care and training. We know dogs are great comforts, but this can sometimes be a stressful job and whilst it almost certainly will be good for you we need you to hit the ground running and be ready to learn and implement our training and high standards.
- We don’t want those who think it’s playing with dogs and stroking puppies - If you think this is what the job entails you’ve not reviewed our website. We want confident people who know how to work hard, multi task and understand how this could be the best job in the world, but not the easiest.
Cover Letter Required:
If you don’t want to put the effort in to write a cover letter, we won’t consider your application. If you’re not sure what a cover letter is, research it. We want to know:
- Which role you're applying for
- Why you want this role and why you think you’re suitable.
- Any restrictions on your availability to work
- If you have applied for a role with us before, let us know why we should reconsider on this occasion?
- Any other information you may feel relevant to support your application
- or, that we should know before proceeding with your application.

Qualifications relating to animal care are preferred, however if you don’t have experience/qualifications working with dogs that’s ok. So long as you have experience of working hard, multi tasking and learning new skills quickly.
Quick note. Whilst beneficial, having dogs in your family doesn’t qualify as working with them or of experience of working hard etc.
