Day Shift Warehouse Operative

Permanent - full-time position 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday
£25,440 per annum plus overtime at time and a half
An opportunity has arisen within our busy Leeds branch for a Day Shift Warehouse Operative.
The Warehouse is fast paced environment and the role of Warehouse Operative is physically demanding due to the requirement for manual handling when loading/unloading pallets.
Flexibility may be required to support colleagues with absence/holiday cover.
As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Picking/packing orders for distribution
- Checking orders to ensure that packaging is damage free
- Maintain safe working practices by adhering to our Safe Systems of Work
- Communicate with the management team regarding any issues, discrepancies or defects within the Warehouse
- Work within guidelines and to specific targets
- Work as part of our Team, working closely with the Supervisory/Management Team, but equally motivated working on your own initiative
Are you:
- Able to work as part of a team but equally on your own initiative
- Have good communication skills
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Able to meet/exceed targets
- Qualified for MHE licences for forklift (minimum) and/or Reach/Flexi
