Date Project and Risks Specialist
- Own the end-to-end ownership & delivery of projects aligned to the Strategic and Business Outcomes/Deliverables & to agreed time, cost and quality criteria.
- Set-up and manage project governance, scope, risk and issues, compliance, resource planning, budget management and reporting.
- Matrix management of all workstream leads within the Project team.
- Lead communication with stakeholders and work to drive strong, open and sustained communication channels both within function and across the wider stakeholder community.
- Present Project status updates to core CFU/CU teams as required i.e. to working groups
- Ensuring decisions are made to protect/ enhance the Customer and User Experience, putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.
- Work with stakeholders to proactively resolve conflict through problem-solving, negotiation, open communication and direct influencing.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the applicable regulations, as well as business products and services in wider portfolios, as well as the future needs and compliance requirements of the business.
- Create and sustain a proven network across the business to enable efficient and effective project delivery and ensure credibility and ownership of decisions.
- Liaise with wider project management community to secure alignment on interdependencies and ensure these are tracked and managed across projects.
- Conduct Post Implementation Reviews to capture lessons learned from previous deliveries.
- Leading on high-level and detailed project planning that balances ambitious timelines with realistic plans with contingency for the unforeseen, supporting sustainable ways of working across the function and wider group.
- Experience developing and managing projects and programs to allow processes to run efficiently and implement change.
- having clear and regularly updated project plans and RAID logs are key to ensuring all suppliers, individuals and organisation are aligned to delivering projects.
- Relevant industry experience within a regulatory compliance environment and experience of delivering technology and organisational change projects.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with individuals at all levels in different departments, including senior executives.
- Broad knowledge of Privacy Regulation, Technology and Telecoms sector.
- Understanding of product and process development life cycle and implementation.
- Change management (organisation and cultural skills).
- Prince Practitioner, Membership of APM, IPM or 6 Sigma is advantageous but not essential.
