Are you a Data Architect passionate about architecting and building data platforms?

A leading Digital Asset Proprietary Trading company are looking for a Data Architect to own the entire data pipeline. You'll absorb data from the outside world, transform it into actionable insights, and then design the interfaces and APIs the rest of the team will use.

As Data Architect, you will develop solutions for Quant Traders and Researchers to efficiently extract insights from data, including owning the ingestion, transformations, and interface.

The successful Data Architect will have:

Experience developing scalable pipelines and model implementations suitable for high-volume data sets, including handling accessibility via an API to data users
Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with Python-based data-engineering toolkits
Experience running code in a containerised environment - specifically Docker and Kubernetes
Statistical analysis, RCA, and troubleshooting experience
Proficiency with RDBMS, NoSQL, distributed compute platforms such as Spark, Dask or Hadoop
Exposure to/knowledge of: Apache Airflow, AWS, Jupyter, Kafka is also a bonus
BIG BONUS: experience within a Trading/Market Making environment

This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Architect to own the data process for a company that has ambitions to be the market leader in Crypto HFT technology.

The successful Data Architect will receive a salary of between £140,000 - £170,000 + Equity, and other benefits.
