Job Title: Data Mesh

Location: Remote

Duration: Long Term

Rate:

• Articulating the end-to-end data mesh vision aligned to the broader organization strategy and objectives.
• Providing innovative and practical data mesh architecture that is in line with the business objectives.
• Working across multiple data architecture projects with varied stakeholders, providing technical leadership and advisory services to the business by anticipating needs and potential objections.
• Leading in the creation, maintenance, and monitoring of on-premise or cloud infrastructure, such as the design of end-to-end data platforms, development and operations of cloud management and design of distributed systems, handling structured and unstructured data.
• Driving adherence to data management standards to promote optimization and consistency.
• Design, build and operationalize large scale enterprise data solutions and applications using one or more following AWS (Amazon web services) data and analytics services -
• Analyze, re-architect and re-platform on-premise data warehouses to data platforms on AWS cloud. -
• Design and build production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a big data architecture, using Java, Python, Scala. -
• Design and implement data engineering, ingestion and curation functions on AWS cloud using AWS native or custom programming. -
• Perform detail assessments of current state data platforms and create an appropriate transition path to AWS cloud. -
• Has working experience in AWS Athena and Glue Pyspark, EMR, DynamoDB, Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, Snowflake

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Implementing Data Mesh concepts on AWS Cloud: 3 years (Preferred)
• creation, maintenance, and monitoring of on-premise or cloud: 3 years (Required)
