Data Visualisation Analyst (Graphic Design)
The Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated data visualisation analyst to join our growing company. You will support our regional analysts by creating visual content for our reporting. As a data visualisation analyst, you will work with datasets to bring to life security threats for our clients. Your duties will include developing the visual style and branding of our content.
Responsibilities
● Collaborate with regional analysts to determine the best graphical content to add value to written reports and verbal briefings
● Exploit datasets to ensure meaningful and accurate visuals including charts, maps, and infographics
● Create a strong brand identity, including selecting colour palettes, fonts, images, and layouts
● Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product
● Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software
● Determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces
● QA design for errors
● Implement feedback and changes whenever possible
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
● Bachelor’s degree or higher in a creative field
● Minimum of two years experience in graphic design
● Proven experience in data analysis and data visualisation using Tableau and/or Power BI
● Demonstrable experience of data visualisation to support editorial content (including mapping, charts and infographics)
● Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXPress, and Illustrator
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Attention to detail
● Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects
● Strong analytical skills
● Time management and organisational skills
● Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
● Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
● Experience with both print and digital media
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
