Description

We are in search of an apprentice for our Data Technician role to join our data team. The perfect candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders, to craft visually engaging and informative reports and dashboards.

Main duties:

• Utilising a variety of analytical techniques and tools, with a focus on Microsoft Excel
• Extracting, cleaning, and preparing data for subsequent analysis
• Learning and applying data visualization tools
• Gaining proficiency in checking, creating, adjusting, and maintaining data
• Acquiring and applying statistical techniques for data
• Plan, organise and complete own workload to meet project commitments within agreed schedules

Entry requirements

Achieved a minimum of GCSEs grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)

Ensure quality and accuracy of own work.

Good interpersonal skills.

Collaborative and a team worker.

Good communication skills, including report interpretation and presentation of results.

Good personal planning and time management.

An inquisitive mind, focused on addressing and solving data and analysis problems

Logical approach to mathematical reasoning

Training to be provided

The successful candidate will complete a level 3 Data Techncian Apprenticeship: -

Things to consider

Starting salary is £20,000 - £23,000
