Job Description
This role acts as a data access workstream lead, working alongside my clients transformation offices and across their portfolio to enable the seamless access of data in line with compliance and regulation. As a highly skilled and experienced data lead, you will play a pivotal role in enabling insight-driven decision making through technology solutions across my clients UK operations. Collaborating across entities and functions, you will guide the data access strategy in line with the agreed transformation roadmap, working with stakeholders to enable insight-driven solutions to maximise the value of our data.
Working closely with my client , Financial Services and the transformation office to define and implement a compliant data strategy.
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of technology solutions including the exploration of new tools, platforms, and methodologies to enhance analytics capabilities and outcomes

Establish best practice for data governance, ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations -
Define key performance indicators and establish mechanisms for monitoring and reporting on the impact of analytics initiatives. Regularly present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders. -
Build commercial understanding of business strategy and priorities across Toyota Financial Services, Toyota GB, Toyota Insurance Services and KINTO to create robust business cases which define the commercial impact of data access across our organisations.
Create effective working relationship with senior stakeholders across my clients portfolio to drive progress, understand and resolve blockers and drive a common understanding of the vision at all levels-
Creating a clear understanding of interdependencies and priorities which may impact the success of the data access workstream, developing cohesive and practical solutions to drive momentum -
Working closely with the legal teams within each entity to implement solutions which are legally compliant and in line with regulation -
Budget & resource oversight of data access to ensure budgets stay on track and project is appropriately resourced to minimize delay -
Work alongside the Transformation Office to support the harmonisation and consistency of the strategic vision within each entity through close partnership and excellent working relationships at all levels -
Stay updated on the latest advancements in analytics, automotive industry trends, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement

The role of a Data Strategy Lead involves creating and executing a comprehensive data strategy for an organization to drive effective data utilization, decision-making, and overall business success. This role is critical in today's data-driven world, where organizations collect vast amounts of data that can be transformed into valuable insights when managed strategically. The Data Strategy Lead typically performs the following responsibilities
Data Vision and Planning: Develop a clear vision for how data can be used to achieve the organization's goals. Collaborate with leadership to align data strategy with business objectives and long-term plans.
Data Governance: Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations. This involves defining data ownership, access controls, and data lifecycle management.
Data Architecture: Design and implement a robust data architecture that supports data collection, storage, processing, and analysis. This might involve selecting appropriate data storage technologies, integration methods, and data pipelines.
Data Collection and Integration: Identify relevant data sources both within and outside the organization. Develop strategies for data collection, integration, and transformation to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
Data Analytics and Insights: Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with business goals. Enable the creation of insightful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
Data Strategy Execution: Develop and implement action plans to execute the data strategy. This includes overseeing data projects, initiatives, and investments to ensure alignment with the strategy.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments and teams within the organization to understand their data needs and challenges. Collaborate to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements across different functions.
What's on Offer
This is an exciting 12- 18 month contract, with a day rate between £600 - £650 per day ( Inside IR35)The role will require you to be at Head office , 2-3 days per week, located in Epsom, Surrey.
