Senior Data Scientist

Location- Halifax, NS

Permanent Position

We are looking for a data scientist who can solve complex problems at scale. Your every day:

• Optimize for methods for traversing through millions of embeddings and sorting them in seconds by simplifying the problem and finding simplified yet meaningful representations of these embeddings.
• Optimize embeddings of users and objects through both deep learning and challenging math. (see our graph of people and things)
• Write object-oriented code that is easy to understand and maintain.

Required skills

• We recognize that sometimes the best talent comes without a degree or diploma attached. Here are our “must-haves” for skills:
• Experience with neural recommender systems.
• Experience with transformers and other deep learning methods.
• Python fluency.
• Some experience in building APIs.

Nice to have:

• Interest in distributed learning and federated learning.

Pay: $90.00-$120.00 per year
