An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Centre for Cardiovascular Science at the University of Edinburgh for a Senior Data Scientist. Come and join our team to play a major role shaping the future of data science in cardiology.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for an outstanding data scientist to join the Centre for Cardiovascular Science to play a key role in the data science component our research programme. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery and support of a cutting-edge multidisciplinary programme of research.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Experience in data science in healthcare, especially machine learning in cardiology
- Strong coding abilities in one or more programming language
- The ability to communicate data science principles with both experts and non-experts
- The ability to work independently
- The ability to build effective working relationships
