What you'll be doing

As a Data Scientist, your role will be focussed within our Customer and Network Performance team, working with our wider teams to recommend actions and present data in a way that can be easily communicated and turned into tangible actions. You will get to know how our regulatory internal and external reporting to HSE, BEIS, Ofgem play a vital role in driving improvement. You'll be making a difference in process to drive operational excellence at SPEN.


The successful candidate will have experience of sourcing, understanding, manipulating and reporting back on data from all customer touch points for the purpose of continual improvement within the Customer Service area.

What you'll bring

You'll have strong analytical, reporting and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with others, taking into account all possible information available. You'll also have the ability to consult with others when applicable and recognise possible trends or weaknesses and confidence to suggest improvements.



Strong IT Literacy with Microsoft packages and an understanding of Excel or similar computer packages will be beneficial to any application.
