Job description
- Strong Python programming
- Formal training in machine learning: dimensionality reduction, clustering, embeddings, and sequence classification algorithms
- Practical training in Natural Language Processing methods and libraries such as spaCy, word2vec, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Flair, BERT, NLTK, OpenNLP, StanfordNLP
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud platform
- Understanding of data modeling principles.
- Ability to work with complex data models.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. Postgres, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, graph databases such as Neptune or neo4j)
- Knowledge of Spark, Hadoop, or other distributed computing systems highly preferred
- Knowledge of API development and machine learning deployment highly preferred
- People who want to drive change and transform an industry, who have the curiosity, drive, and passion to succeed in our team
- Someone with experience working on customer facing, data science products
- Someone with a strong analytical mindset, who can extract datapoints from a range of sources, both internal and external, and collate these together
- Someone who is comfortable working with a backend engineer to create the ETL pipeline to automate this process.
- Someone who can use visualisations and other techniques to draw insights from this data.
- A thinker who can suggest ideas for new data sources or other areas of expansion.
- A collaborator who can work closely with the data scientist, UX designers and product manager to build the best possible product for our customers.
- Someone who is ambitious and wishes to succeed with the potential to work on a variety of different products throughout the organization
- 2-3 years experience working as a data scientist
- Interest in the legal system a bonus
