Role - Data Scientist
Salary - £65,000
Location - Fully Remote (Occasional travel to site)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist to join a very exciting consultancy. We are looking for a passionate candidate with fantastic communication skills, to focus on the research and development of new innovative AI and machine learning techniques and models. Your work will include applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems.

Responsibilities

Having experience in a research or professional background of using techniques such as computer vision, NLP, deep learning (recurrent neural networks, convolutional neural networks, deep belief network) and anomaly detection.
Good knowledge of Machine learning techniques (e.g., Bayesian inference, hierarchical models, Gaussian processes, causal inference, Online Machine learning) and knowing why you would choose one over the other.
Good understanding of machine learning libraries and machine learning toolsets on AWS, Azure and/or Open source.
Experience of analysing large datasets and communicating findings to key technical and non-technical stakeholders including using data visualization methods.
Preferably, experience with Python, OO programming, SQL, API's, Version Control and the ability to program a basic CRUD application.
