Expression Networks is seeking a skilled Junior Data Scientist with experience in computer vision to spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge data dashboards for a project in collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Administration in Washington, DC. Working independently and within a team, you will also be involved in creating ETL pipelines, cleansing and standardizing data, as well as developing machine learning and computer vision models that will assist with data correlation, anomaly detection, situation awareness, and decision making for customers across a breadth of domains and use cases. You will have the opportunity to strengthen your skill set while learning new technologies utilized across the Expression Networks breadth and depth of projects.

Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or higher clearance.

Location:

• Hybrid in the DMV area, with the ability to attend periodic events and deployments at our client site (Annapolis and Northern Virginia)

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Data Science/Computer Engineering or relevant discipline
• 1+ years' experience creating AI/ML models and pipelines in execution of development task
• 1+ years' experience using Python language and libraries for data science
• 1+ years' experience creating ETL processes and working with a variety of databases
• Deployment of vision algorithms in AWS
• Experience building or maintaining databases
• Knowledge of advanced statistical concepts and methods

Preferred Experience:

• Deployment of computer vision algorithms in AWS
• Experience using Tensorflow, Caffe2, PyTorch, Keras, and PySpark
• Experience using ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Postgres, Neo4j, and Pentaho Data Integration
• Experience using one or more SQL-on-Hadoop technology (Hive, Impala, Spark SQL, Presto, etc.)
• Experience in short release cycles and the full software lifecycle
• Experience with Agile development methodology (e.g., Scrum)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Certification in AWS, SQS, SNS, S3, SDL, SWLC, ISO26262, MISRA, RDS, CDK
