We are actively hiring a Data Scientist to support the U.S. Government working in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; experience in big data modeling, blockchain, data science and/or
applications development, or commensurate years of experience with higher level of degree;
or Bachelor’s degree w/IC targeting, forensic work, Police or Detective, analytic experience, data management, data science, telecommunications; or years of experience commensurate with developmental-level or combination of advanced degrees
Required Qualifications:
- C/C++’programming (one semester or equivalent experience via hands on development)
- Computer networks knowledge
- Efficient in analyzing and solving technical problems
- Ability to express complex ideas and insight in writing and through briefings
- Ability to structure work to pursue longer term strategic objectives
- Conduct analysis with incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous information
Desired Qualifications:
- Applied machine learning experience
- Technical targeting experience
- Experience as a targeter or all-source analyst
- Ability to develop prototypes for generating social science insights
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining the U.S. Government, including US Citizenship and a background investigation
- Willigness to travel
