A bit about the job:
We are recruiting for a Data Quality & Management Lead who will refine data quality and data management capabilities within the Customer & Marketing Division. You will have the scope and opportunity to influence the approach to data quality across the organisation and drive the implementation of data management best practices. You will develop and improve processes, systems and services that engender a step change in the culture and mindset of our People towards data quality and data management. You will be accountable for the adoption of principles aligned to the Data Governance Framework, which includes embedding data ownership and ensuring data quality improvement initiatives are prioritised and effectively implemented.
Aviva uses “smart-working”, and the person in this role can be based anywhere commutable to an Aviva office.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Broad understanding of DAMA DMBOK2, and data management concepts including Data Governance and Data Quality, Metadata Management, Reference Data Management, Data Retention and Privacy Management.
Demonstrable experience in implementing and embedding data quality and/or data management frameworks and operating models.
Proven ability to influence and manage stakeholders and peers, particularly those who may not be data literate.
Design and implementation of core data quality metrics, KPIs and reporting therein
DAMA CDMP would be an advantage.
