Data Protection Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a Data Protection Specialist to join our established Data Protection team on a remote basis.
Your Role
You will work in a small specialist team to manage and assist with Data Subject Rights Requests received from our customers. You will Manage and assist with the end-to-end handling of Data Subject Rights Requests, including the right to erasure and Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs)
This includes accurately recording and maintaining all rights requests. Logging requests on to the dedicated case tool and driving updates accordingly. Ensure that workflows are captured, understood and that processes are maintained fulfil requests within the regulatory timescales You will become a technical expert on GDPR processes, controls, and regulatory requirements, becoming a Data Protection SME.
About You
You will come from a customer facing role focusing on customer experiences, preferably from an insurance or financial services background. It would be advantageous to have exposure to data Protection, but this is not mandatory.
