The Doyle Collection is currently looking for a Data Protection Analyst based in our London head office. Reporting to our Group Head of IT, you will also be working closely with the fellow GDPR Steering Committee Members.
- Engagement with all hotels, particularly Privacy Champions, and head office functions
- Advisory role on GDPR/DPA to all functions and employees within the organisation
- Coordination and governance on the implementation of GDPR/DPA-related policies and procedures across the organisation, including but not limited to:
- Creating and updating the GDPR/DPA policies
- Delivering the GDPR/DPA employee awareness training
- Completion of Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
- Defining data retention and handling policy and procedures and assistance in their implementation
- Engagement on organisational projects in relation to the completion of DPIAs and inclusion of privacy by design concepts
- Third party GDPR/DPA compliance including assessment of potential third parties, onboarding of new third parties and ongoing governance of third parties
- Chairing of organisation’s internal GDPR/DPA Forum
- Mentoring of Data Privacy Champions in each of the organisation’s locations
Skills & Experience:
- 3 years+ working in a GDPR/DPA coordinator role
- Professional GDPR/DPA certification(s)/qualification(s)
- Knowledge of EU and UK GDPR legislation and compliance requirements
- Understanding of the hospitality sector would be beneficial
- Knowledge of US data privacy requirements would be useful, but not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate at C-suite level
- Confident presentation skills
