Are you a data protection expert, with experience supporting an organisation wide data protection programme? Are you familiar with data protection laws and policies with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders?
Dogs Trust are currently going through a major IT Transformation. We want to develop an Insights and Analytics strategy to work as a roadmap to make better use of data across the organisation and to always be there for dog lovers, dog owners and our fantastic supporters
We are recruiting for a Data Protection Analyst to help with the implementation of a new data protection management programme and to also support the organisation with ongoing data protection activities.
You will play a pivotal role in developing culture of information security and data protection and compliance across the business, working on new and existing internal data protection policies, guidelines and procedures in collaboration with key stakeholders. Becoming a trusted expert on data protection you will engage with project teams to advise on privacy controls and mitigation of risks.
With privacy/data protection related qualification or certification you will have a good understanding of GDPR, PECR and other relevant regulation. An excellent communicator you will be familiar with Privacy Impact Assessments and Legitimate Interest Assessments. With experience of training colleagues in all areas of an organisation in Data Protection concepts, you will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
