About us: MetadataWorks makes using data faster, simpler, and safer for innovators across the world. Our data discovery solutions are used by healthcare, climate, governmental and research organisations to unlock the value of underutilised data assets.
Purpose: We are looking for an individual with great attention to detail to join our team. The Data Modeler/Analyst will have experience building data models for the health and social care sector, working with health and social care data and have exceptional communication skills. The Data Modeler will be responsible for updating, testing and documenting new models, as well as regularly updating and maintaining existing models. The Data Modeler will also be expected to work with staff to present materials and obtain input from other parties. They must be comfortable managing their own time, working with stakeholders and presenting their work.
Key responsibilities
- Test and collecting feedback on data models
- Analysing models against existing standards and systems
- Interfacing with business and technical stakeholders, as well as clients to develop models
- Create documentation for non-technical users.
- Create documentation for technical users.
- Working with software engineers to support the implementation of models
- Creating terminologies and reference sets
- Working with JSON and XML

Experience / Background:
- A strong academic background from a top-tier university OR proven success within an applicable industry is a must.

Salary: £55,350.00-£60,637.00 per year
