We're looking for a Data Management Analyst to:
- Support management and evolution of the Data Control processes across the Bank
- Challenge and support Divisional and Functional Data Management Offices in ensuring robust data quality
- Establish relationships across the organization to understand, interpret and advise Divisions and Functions on UBS’s Data Management Framework
- Collaborate closely with other Global Data Management Office teams to ensure holistic Data Management strategy
- Conduct comprehensive data analytics and metrics
- Work with Technology Pods to coordinate development and testing around Data Controls and Monitoring
Your team
You'll be working in the Group Data Management Office (GDMO). The GDMO is responsible for embedding a data management culture into the organization by advocation for our strategy and proactively challenging the way firm works with data.
This role sits within the Data Risk and Regulatory team to support Data Controls management, which operates out of Switzerland and United States. The Data Controls management team is responsible for working directly with divisional subject matter experts, in both the business and IT, to identify and manage controls around key data and ensure they are fit for purpose

Your expertise
- Ideally 5 years+ experience in data management within the financial industry
- Strong knowledge of data governance topics, such as data controls, data lineage, data quality etc.
- Strong analytical skills and quantitative approach to problem solving
- Able to understand complex processes and challenge inadequacies in procedures
- Reliable when working on your own, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues
- Able to prioritize and balance your workload, strong time management skills, curious and willing to discover all aspects of our bank
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in Data visualization using Tableau and Alteryx is a plus
