About the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Analyst to join our Data Insight team and play a key role working with a wide range of business areas to create bespoke reporting and analysis.
The Data Insight team are a reporting team who take internal data from various departments and manipulate it to make insightful reports. These reports will inform key decision makers across the business and ultimately help the company achieve its targets. The team also work to automate and speed up manual processes for other teams to save time and make the business more efficient.
Responsibilities for the Data Insight Analyst include developing relationships with key stakeholders, understanding and analysing their needs and then working with those stakeholders to create bespoke analysis and reporting solutions.
Day-to-Day you will:
Work with colleagues across various departments to develop reporting which provides insight on key metrics for the business, progress against company strategy and product performance.
Present regular updates on key organisational metrics and KPIs.
Ensure a single version of the truth for all metrics and key performance indicators used across the business.
Automate key functions and develop reports that reduce the need for manual reporting.
Take part in daily Data Insight team stand-ups to discuss work progress.
Take part in fortnightly agile ‘sprints’, including planning and retrospective discussion sessions with the Data Insight team.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in an analytical role.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage large scale projects.
Excellent stakeholder management skills along with a confident approach to discussing requirements, negotiating deadlines and explaining created solutions.
An understanding of data manipulation and visualisation technologies including Alteryx, Power BI, Salesforce Reporting and SQL would be beneficial.
A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables and Formulas.
Experience of agile processes, helping to plan, organise, and manoeuvre obstacles to deliver results. This will also include effective time management and the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to communicate and present analysis at all levels including to senior management and members of the exec.
Be able to demonstrate your analytical skills and data knowledge through an understanding and interpretation of business data.
