We are currently recruiting for a Data Entry Operator to join us on a fixed term contract for 6 months. We offer a fantastic work-life balance including no weekend or bank holiday working. Salary: £25k

Hours of work: 37.5

Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 (45-minute unpaid break)

Friday 08:00 - 13:30 (No break)

Summary of the role

Support examiners on all data entry requirements.
Under limited supervision, operate computers to input data into files and databases. May undertake more complex tasks where necessary.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Input data and codes required to process information
• Retrieve, confirm and update data in storage.
• Maintain records of data input.
• Maintain logs of messages to and from computers.
• Operate equipment within prescribed standards.
• Detect errors by the use of verifying procedures and make changes as instructed.
• May transcribe data from source material into computer-compatible format.

Education and experience

• Gcse English, Maths and Science Grade C+
• Previous administration experience
