Job description

Key Responsibilities

· Inputting a vast amount of data from other offices in the UK and Head Office

o Registering new donors and putting payments in against their records

o Putting them in a batch and sending out confirmation through email or post and approving this if gift aid applicable

· Checking and verifying Gift Aid Declarations for new and existing payments

o Scan documents Upload scanned documents to donor records in regard to Gift aids

· Doing reversal of payments if donations do not have a genuine Gift Aid declaration.

  • Good telephone manner, experience with inbound and outbound call (desirable)
  • You will be the first point of contact and will need to answer phones and transfer the calls to the correct department.
  • Dealing with sensitive information
  • Responsible for dealing with donations over the phone and from visitors to the office
  • Reception duties: meeting and greeting visitors to the premises and answering visitor inquiries about the business, directing them to the correct staff member.
  • Liaising with other offices and contractors in the premises
  • Sort and distribute mail to the departments upon receipt, post mail out at the end of the day as and when required.
  • Respond to email enquiries
  • Prepare meeting room prior to meetings and make arrangements for refreshments.
  • Additional Ad hoc duties for the senior Admin
  • You will need to be available for weekend work either a Saturday or Sunday (2 main campaign periods only)
  • During 2 main campaign periods in the year, you will be expected to answer calls out of hours which will be diverted to a designated mobile.
  • Health & Safety Duties (Training will be provided)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
