Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing based on customer contracts and daily driver paperwork. This includes validating and updating the information within the system as required to reflect business activity.
- Prepare manual invoices for “extras” billable to customers.
- Prepare driver settlement (pay) reports and analyses to ensure accurate payments to drivers.
- Prepare reports and analyses on various key performance indicators and use these reports as a tool to validate the accuracy of invoicing and driver settlements.
- Report paperwork and order entry discrepancies for subsequent coach back to drivers and dispatchers.
- Interact with customers, accounts receivable, drivers, dispatchers, and operations managers for resolution of discrepancies and issues related to customer billing and driver settlements.
- Conduct regular pricing audit & analysis to ensure maximum revenue recognition.
- Prepare ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders, leveraging large amounts of data where required.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly
- Transportation industry experience considered an asset
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written
- Excellent organization and time- management skills
- Well organized, detail oriented and a proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills required
- Payroll experience an asset
