About the Opportunity

The purpose of this position is to receive and register inpatients and outpatients in a professional, efficient and caring manner in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Graduate of a business, office information technology, medical office assistant, secretarial course or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Medical terminology or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Working knowledge and proficiency with a variety of computer software and programs, specifically Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a self-directed environment and also effectively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to self-learning and continuous professional development
  • Knowledge of the HNhIS system an asset
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Permanent, Part-Time (40%) Position; 28 Hours Bi-weekly

Compensation and Incentives

$20.09 - $21.90 Hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
