Woodcock Law & Notary Public have been established since 2019 providing legal and notarial services to both individuals and businesses. Our offices are located in London, Sheffield and Manchester.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Data Entry Administrator within our Sheffield office to work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We are based in a prime position next to the Sheffield Interchange and Train Station.
This is a diverse and busy role that requires a flexible and proactive approach.
As a Data Entry Administrator you will be responsible for entering, updating, and verifying data in various systems and spreadsheets. You will also perform quality checks, troubleshoot errors, and communicate with other departments/offices as needed.
Some of the typical duties you are expected to undertake are:
- Entering data from various sources into the required protocol system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Updating and maintaining records, files, and documents, following the established procedures and guidelines.
- Verifying and validating data, identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies.
- Performing quality checks on the data entry processes and outputs, ensuring compliance with the standards and regulations.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues or problems related to data entry in the relevant systems.
- Communicating and collaborating with other staff, supervisors, managers, or clients, as and when required.
- Following the data security and confidentiality policies and practices, protecting the data from unauthorised access or misuse.
As a Data Entry Administrator, you should have:
- A GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Maths at Grade 4/5 or above.
- Experience as a Data Entry Administrator or in a similar role preferable.
- Proficiency in using various data entry software, systems, and databases.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, is essential.
- Fast and accurate skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- A flexible and adaptable attitude, with the willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
