Wanted: Data Engineer
The ideal candidate for this role will be a hybrid between a Data Engineer who also has an interest in developing their Data Science capabilities and getting involved with the development of Corals IP Propositions.
Responsibilities:
- Prototyping Data Extraction from unstructured data sources
- Build and maintain data pipelines that meet requirements agreement by the Senior Data Leadership team
- Own and be responsible the delivery of the solution, where required, with colleagues and more junior members of the team
- Interest in Data Science and developing solutions that solve an identified business need
- Communicate the current capabilities of our AI and Data engineering solutions to the rest of the business in a way that can be understood by a wide audience
- Work with the Engineering team to ensure all productised data flows meet the requirements of the business and can be surfaced securely and appropriately
- Work with the Product team to design data flows, and solutions that meet the needs of the current sprint
Requirements:
- 2 years+ experience working as a Data Engineer
- Python
- AWS - ETL Processes (Glue, Lambda etc.), ECS, S3, Database Solutions (Redshift, RDS)
- Git
- Containerisation Technologies
- Load Balancing Solutions
- API creation, integration, and maintenance
- User Authentication and Security
- SQL/Postgres
- Agile Development
- NLP
- Unstructured Data Collection, Processing, and Pipeline maintenance
