GTA (Office is in Mississauga)

Work Structure:

• Hours per week = 37.5 hrs/wk
• Hybrid mode: 3 days WFH and 2 days in the Mississauga office

Big Picture:
The right candidate will be responsible for-

• Designing network solutions in collaboration with network and technology teams.
• Produce technical engineering documentation including technical specifications and planning documents.
• Investigate, recommend and implement resolutions of network operational issues related to network design requiring engineering support.

Day-To-Day:

• Participate in all aspects of Big Data solution delivery life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, production deployment, and support

Top three functions of this role:

• Coding for building an ETL pipeline, Assist on migrating platform to GCP
• Develop standardized practices for delivering new products and capabilities using Big Data technologies, including data acquisition, transformation, and analysis
• Ensure Big Data practices integrate into overall data architectures and data management principles (e.g. data governance, data security, metadata, data quality)

Ideal Candidate Summary:

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate Degree or Certificate
• Demonstrated experience providing network design and architecture

Essential Qualifications:

• Knowledge of SQL

Top 3 skills sets:

• Hadoop Developer
• Knowledge about GCP and Cloud native solutions
• Analyst in Business Intelligence
