Job Description: Data Engineer - £50-65k + 15% Bonus DOE (Remote)

Purpose:

Define, build, maintain and oversee Levin Groups Data Architecture and underlining cloud data services (MS Azure). Deliver ETL & DWH capabilities to provide the business enhanced reporting and analytical insights, enabling data driven decisions.

Position:

Reports directly to the Group Chief Information Officer.

Responsibilities

This is hands on technical role, which takes full responsibility for the build and maintenance of the Groups cloud data services using Microsoft Azure PaaS services. Removing data silos, creating new data models and building bi-directional data integration services with necessary business applications. Creating structured data sets for consumption by the wider business, which will either be presented in PowerBI, Excel or other data analytically tooling.

Duties

  • Contribute to the design of the Groups Data Strategy and Architecture.
  • To build, maintain and evolve the Groups data services including ETL, DWH and BI tooling.
  • Work with FP&A and other business functions to define and deliver their data requirements for consumption.
  • Build and/or oversee the creation of bi-directional data integrations with core business applications such as CRM, Marketing Automation, HRIS, LMS.
  • Build robust data integrity and cleanse processes / automation capabilities.
  • Ensure data sprawl is limited and managed.
  • Ensure data governance and compliance within regulation.
  • Contribute to data innovation and data science initiatives to enrich and monetize the Groups data, increasing overall productivity & operational efficiency.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years experience in a similar technical role.
  • Extensive technical experience in building Azure Data Services (Factory, Data Lake, Data Bricks, & Synapse)
  • Ideally worked within the recruitment industry (desirable)
  • Degree 2:1 or greater (ideally business or technology related)
  • Microsoft technical certifications.

Salary: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
