Requirements for the Senior Data Engineer:
- 3+ years’ experience as a data engineer, building ETL pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Python and related infrastructure, including AWS Glue, and AWS Lambda.
- A good understanding with data science toolkits such as Jupyter Notebook, NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.
- Experience building solutions on AWS and leveraging cloud service provider infrastructure to handle high amounts of data processing at scale.
Nice to haves as a Senior Data Engineer:
- A bachelor’s, master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience mentoring junior data engineers and providing a guidance on best practises and processes.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark and Kafka.
You can work mostly remotely with just 1-2 visits per week at our clients’ state-of-the-art offices in Central London and a base salary of up to £95,000 is on offer with a great range of benefits including:
