ANS’ data team can take an enterprise customers’ data from an old legacy estate to modern cutting-edge architecture. Incorporating Agile delivery, the team use Public Cloud data platforms for analytics, machine learning, AI, D365, Power Platform, and bespoke web applications.
We are looking for a Data Engineer with a specialism in Microsoft Azure. Someone who isn’t afraid of dealing with a variety of solutions across data warehouseing, modelling, security, migrations, multiple programming languages, and a broad spread of Azure native services.
There will always be a new challenge around the corner, making this a perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about being at the fulcrum of the most exciting projects in the Microsoft cloud space.

Your role in the team…
- Design, build, test, and maintain data pipelines as part of data migrations and data warehousing projects.
- Implement secure platforms with identity governance in mind
- Build automation adhering to established architectural best practices
- Continuously improve processes and codebases whilst contributing across all team disciplines, including project definition and Agile planning sessions
- Support technical project sessions and knowledge transfer sessions to key audiences
What we need from you…
Must-have experience and skills
- Experience designing and building data pipelines and transformations with Azure Data Factory and Synapse
- Experience in querying API endpoint to retrieve data
- Python/Pyspark and/or SQL as data engineering languages
- Understanding of Spark-based platforms (Azure Synapse and/or DataBricks preferred)
- Use of Git and supporting technologies (e.g. CI/CD pipelines)
- Experience of working within an Agile framework
Desirable Skills
- Ability to design and create event-driven architectures for both batch and real-time solutions
- Azure data warehousing (Kimball and Inmon methodologies)
- Experience working with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform stacks
