This is an exciting, but challenging time for the Digital Services Team within the Trust as it doubles its size , supports the delivery of a £40m Capital Development Programme and capitalises on a £30m investment to drive a digitally led future which underpins the Trusts vision.

The IT department is committed to a forward thinking and dynamic strategy which follows a ‘best of breed’ approach. This involves delivering a number of projects to provide staff with the best technology, enabling them to deliver more efficient and effective patient care. We require experienced Data Center Specialists to contribute to the delivery of the IT Programme, providing support and installation services for the continuing operation of the Trusts’ server, PC and thin client virtual infrastructure.
You’ll provide support for the continuing operation of the Trusts’ IT Infrastructure including all systems and servers in order to maintain a high level of security, integrity and availability ensuring BAU is maintained

The post holder is responsible for
- To provide technical support and maintenance of the system infrastructure and services for the Trust and all offsite locations.
- Undertake routine but essential maintenance tasks on systems and servers to ensure continuous operations and maximise system up time.
- Performing detailed system monitoring and produce performance reports (Capacity and Availability reporting)
- Assist in implementing complex IT Infrastructure projects
- Work with technical suppliers and third party organisations to deliver solutions
