Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Data, Insights and Engagement Team within the Careers Service at the University of Sheffield. The position of Data and Reporting Analyst is a varied and dynamic role, providing key data insights to inform service provision.

This role offers you the opportunity to lead on the reporting systems for the Careers Service, analysing and developing reports on a variety of employability and user engagement data sets. You will be responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance of critical data systems, implementing new developments and providing training to key stakeholders.

The role holder will add substantial benefit to the University’s wider employability agenda by providing the information that the University and faculties and departments need to make evidence based, targeted decisions.

We are seeking candidates with high levels of digital literacy, numeracy and statistical competency, with experience of handling large, complex data sets, and a track record of delivering high quality reports. We are committed to exploring flexible working opportunities which benefit the individual and University.

We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK. The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.

We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
