We’re Swanky and we’re a fast-growing e-commerce agency based in Exeter. We design, build and grow Shopify Plus stores that convert.
We are looking for a Data and Analytics Manager (either mid-level or senior) who comes from an ecommerce background with Shopify and/or other e-commerce platform experience. If you’ve helped brands launch new sites, been involved in complex migrations across platforms, love a good spreadsheet and you’re looking to be part of a fast-moving team, this could be just the role for you.
About the Role
You’ll be working across Swanky and its clients, with teams consisting of developers, quality assurance executives, designers, product managers, project managers, marketing executives, strategists and analysts.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing data-driven insights and recommendations to our clients to help them improve their ecommerce performance. Whatever the task, you’ll take ownership of it, collaborate with the team and deliver thoroughly tested and high-quality solutions.
Problem-solving is key to this role along with the ability to communicate complexity, prioritise and estimate required effort.
Responsibilities / Skills
- Utilise Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and other e-commerce data tools to analyse client websites and provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Configure and maintain e-commerce tracking for client websites using tools such as Google Tag Manager and Shopify Scripts
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track e-commerce KPIs and identify areas for improvement
- Work with clients to understand their business goals and objectives, and use data to create strategies and tactics to achieve those goals
- Collaborate with other teams within Swanky Agency, including design, development, and marketing, to implement ecommerce analytics solutions for our clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in ecommerce analytics, and apply that knowledge to improve our clients' performance
Technical Skills Required
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce analytics or a related field
- Proficient in Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and other ecommerce data tools
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to clients in a clear and concise manner
- Experience working with Shopify+ and other ecommerce platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Looker Studio is a plus
- Experience with configuring and maintaining ecommerce tracking using tools such as Google Tag Manager and Shopify Scripts is a plus

- £26,000 - £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- 30 days holiday per year inclusive of bank holidays, plus 1 additional day per full year served, capped at 5
