The starting salary for both the Data Analyst and Sourcing Systems Officer roles is £29,291 per annum, based on a 36-hour working week.

About the Team
The Commissioning Performance, Monitoring and Brokerage Systems team sits within the Adult Social Care’s Contract and Commissioning Support Service. The Contract and Commissioning Support Service provides robust contract management, performance and monitoring, digital systems development, and support to Commissioners of Adult Social Care. A countywide team, it provides a strategic perspective to some of Adult Social Care’s biggest grants and contracts and works closely with the Procurement team and area-based commissioners to ensure the directorate is achieving, through its commissioned services, the best value-for-money outcomes possible for its residents.
The roles
Data Analyst - 12-month FTC/secondment
We are looking for a highly motivated and conscientious individual to join our busy and friendly team in the Contract and Commissioning Support Service. This is an opportunity to develop your data analysis, presentation, and reporting skills. The role holder will be responsible for key areas of work across ASC Commissioning and will be tasked with producing creative reports, provide smart solutions, and overall data analysis to support smart, intelligent commissioning across the county.
The right candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent IT skills and experience of large datasets, as well as experience of collecting and using data to support decision making. Tableau Software experience is critical; Tableau Skills will be assessed as part of the recruitment process through a test. We are looking for a creative individual who is not afraid to think outside of the box! The successful candidate will need to be a team player, solutions based, use their own initiative and be comfortable in managing priorities/workflow.

Sourcing Systems Officer x2 (one permanent & one FTC/secondment to end 31/08/2023)
We are looking for two highly motivated and conscientious individuals to join our busy and friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, solutions-based team in order to develop your IT and technical skills, data/digital analysis and provide innovative and creative solutions.
The position will be required to manage the back end electronic referral and sourcing systems which us used to source services of care for our residents.
Typical work you will be responsible for in this role includes, but is not limited to:
- Ensuring that systems are running smoothly and contribute to new developments
- Assist with queries relating to the systems and user access in a timely manner
- Coordinate and complete systems testing, collaborating with our IT development team
- Producing and updating the user guides and internal documentation
- Train users on new processes and systems development
The right candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent IT skills and must be highly organised with a real interest in systems, systems development, and continuous improvement of all our systems. You will need to take responsibility, use initiative and be comfortable in managing your own priorities within the set procedures and processes.
To be considered for this role you must have experience and knowledge in the following areas: knowledge of digital best practices, writing documentation, testing, knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodology, troubleshooting and problem solving.
