The Package - Annual Salary

Working Pattern
Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week, starting and finishing times to be agreed

Job Purpose
CET is continuing to invest in Data and MI and the appetite for data is only increasing and is highly valued by Senior Leadership Team. As a result, we are looking to recruit a new Data Analyst to join the team.
To support the Head of Date Science and Business Intelligence to design, build and maintain regular reporting in to meeting client requirements and drive business growth.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain data models and corresponding reports.
- Utilising Excel to generate and distribute client MI reports within agreed upon timeframes.
- Updating forecasts into Excel spreadsheets
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholder to actively seek feedback and deliver MI that aligns with their requirements.
- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of the data produced to ensure its integrity.
- Adhering to the CET’s data security protocols and DPA requirements when handling confidential information.
- Ensuring comprehensive documentation of production and distribution processes for all reports in accordance with stakeholder needs, providing an audit trail and reference material for training purposes.
- Delivering a concise and clear analytical overview of reports and their contents to stakeholders, including the identification of trends and areas requiring attention.
- Responding to ad-hoc requests for analysis
- Adding monthly forecasts into lookup tables
- Other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.
Qualifications
Minimum three years’ experience as a Microsoft Power BI developer.
Advantageous - Degree in a numerate subject. Examples include Maths, Statistics, Data Science, Operational Research, Management Science, Management Accountancy

- Excellent proficiency in DAX
- Good understanding of Tabular Editor
- Good understanding of SQL
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Advantageous
- Familiarity with NoSQL
- Familiarity with DAX Studio
- Familiarity with on-premises Power BI Gateway
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate
- VBA experience
