As part of our journey to becoming Europe’s most effective advertiser we are expanding our Media Strategy & Effectiveness department. We are building a new media test and learn team to sit within the department, that will develop best practice strategic guidelines for media and creative, based on the insight generated from a full range of advanced measurement tools and methodologies, including a new A/B testing capability. The new media testing team will design, deploy and evaluate marketing tests, integrating results with econometrics and scale learnings via a ‘Golden Rules’ framework.
What you’ll do:
Support the Measurement Lead with delivery of Matched Market (A/B) testing and insights for media and creative across ATL and digital channels
Ensure that media testing at Sky is conducted with statistical rigour, including conducting regression-based Matched Market Analyses and Power Analyses to determine test feasibility, minimum sample size required, campaign budgets and test length
Key owner of Sky’s Testing Toolkit including the Matched Market Selection Tool, Power Analysis and Results Analyser across test design and measurement; responsible for keeping tools up to date
Identify test success measures and primary KPIs (across commercial and brand metrics) as well as secondary KPIs (media metrics) and ensure that relevant tools and measurement trackers are in place
Responsible for collecting input data for tools and test results, including accessing, cleaning, and updating commercial data at a granular postcode level via GCP and monitoring tests in-flight using media metrics collected via external agencies and digital platforms
Analyse test data and measure statistical confidence, supporting the Measurement Lead on the translation of successful results into actionable insights (“Golden Rules”) to be scaled across media campaigns
What you’ll bring:
Data analyst with Analytics / Statistics background
Strong knowledge of programming languages (Python and SQL in particular); others optional
Experience in using advanced analytical methodologies, including statistical analysis, knowledge of modelling techniques and building visualisation tools
Broad understanding of the role that marketing plays within a business, as well as implications and requirements on data analytics; marketing or media agency experience preferred
Ability to develop strong relationships within the Measurement team, as well as across Media Planning, Marketing, and Finance teams

Your office space
You will be expected in the office 2-3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday(Optional)).

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
