Job description
Do you have a passion for data and analytics? Are you excited about the prospect of working with cutting-edge data platforms and using them to provide more access and insights than ever before? We are seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to join our team and help us unlock the full potential of our data.
You will work closely with our Data team to ensure that data is correctly processed and analysed. You will also learn to develop and maintain ETL processes and data integration, as well as optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability and reliability. With your strong understanding of data modeling and data visualisation, you will play a key part in shaping our data strategy and driving our business forward.
This is the perfect role for an ambitious Data Analyst who wants the space and support to develop on their existing skills and move closer to Data Engineering as a whole. This is a role where you won’t be Siloed, you’ll have the opportunity to work end to end on our entire data platform, in a team that is set to grow, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

About Selina
At Selina Finance, our mission is to give people access to the wealth they have in their homes, and we’re doing that by building a next-generation digital lender – starting with a home equity loan product. More than £2tn equity value is locked up in UK homes, while homeowners still need to rely on high-interest rate consumer loans, credit cards or overdrafts. We believe this is unfair and unnecessary. We offer a financing product unlike anything else out there, one that is as flexible as a current account, as affordable as a mortgage, and as easy to apply for as a consumer loan.
We are building an incredible team and culture of high performance, development, reward and recognition. We announced our Series B earlier in January this year, ready for the next phase of our adventure and this is where you come in!
What will you be doing?
Responsibilities:
Take a proactive approach to producing dashboards that allow our senior management to extract better insights from it and make data informed decisions
Work with our existing Data engineers to own the data roadmap, data platform and data warehouse, and develop our analytical codebase using DBT
Improve the quality of existing legacy dashboards and support migrating them to a new BI platform
