Education Services (ES), a division of Tribal, partners with governments and education institutions around the world who need help to deliver on their strategic ambitions to improve the quality and impact of education.

The Role

Our team are looking for an enthusiastic Data Analyst, reporting to our Education Services Delivery Lead and be responsible in the preparation of client data and delivery outputs.

The role entails:
Using a mix of Excel sheets, Excel macros, and SQL queries to generate deliverables in a timely manner.
Altering and debugging existing Excel sheets, Excel macros, and SQL queries based on changes in requirement or results from testing.
Testing the deliverables against the data and specifications.
Working in an agile environment with daily stand ups to coordinate priorities and communicate blockers.
Improving legacy processes to make them more efficient and automated.

The candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Advanced Excel skills including: Pivot Tables, Charts, Embedded SQL queries, formulas e.g. VLOOKUP, MATCH, INDEX, COUNTIF, SUMIF, IF, and FILTER.
Experience of interrogating data with SQL, including the use of SELECT, JOINS, WHERE, GROUP BY and HAVING. Additional experience with CTEs, Subqueries, UPDATE, CREATE, and Windowed Functions would be useful but not essential.
Good communication - clearly update how things are progressing in their work and willing to assist others and ask for assistance when needed.
Can work independently and willing to dig to find answers in face of unclear requirements.
General problem solving and effective debugging.

Qualtrics
Azure DevOps
