What will you be doing?
The Society are fully embracing the new office ways of working culture, so a mixture of both office (Lichfield) and home working is on offer.We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data and Analytics team.
In this exciting role, you’ll empower colleagues across the business to make better decisions for customers and members using data led insight, contributing to growth and improvement in sales.
Producing and sharing insight and analysis, you’ll influence key business decisions and support the delivery of critical change projects across the society. You'll conduct data analysis to understand the voice of the customer, identify opportunities and improve the customer's omnichannel experience.
You will stay up to date with the competition in the market and apply insights to develop and improve internal products across our funeral business.
You’ll develop and deliver appropriate models to support marketing plans for customers and members. Using analytical modelling such as RFM, principal component analysis and association rules, you’ll analyse trends in how our customers shop with us and identify ways to build loyalty based on their shopping behaviour.
How will I know if I am right for this role?
Being able to present and talk about data and analysis to all levels of the business, explain complex concepts of what the data is saying in an easily understandable way, is a must for this role.
You’ll have strong communication and stakeholder management skill working across multi-functional teams to collaborate and deliver results.
Strong attention to detail with an analytics approach to problem solving and appetite to stay up to date on latest trends.
You will have a strong background in using SQL and be familiar with Python and Power BI to analyse customer behaviour to influence business decisions.
Previous experience in building customer segmentation models is an advantage, as is carrying out text analytics / sentiment analysis.
