Job description
The Procurement Data Analyst is responsible for overseeing supplier relations and transportation details for Stephen Joseph. Their duties include evaluating their employers’ brand and target audience to determine what products to order, monitoring delivery times from warehouses or manufacturing plants to retail locations and hiring and training purchasing staff members to carry out purchasing tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Responsible for item set up and maintain sage data start to finish.
· Place the PO to supplier and ensure they deliver within time frame.
· Oversee the purchase process for the karma division and help as needed
· Negotiate vendor cost on a daily basis to meet target margin for each division.
· Negotiate MOQ and product lead time with vendor daily basis.
· Oversee the China process from testing and shipment to the follow up process.
· Maintain UPC master data file.
· Review costing with cost analysist and make the recommendation for the correction as needed
· Create a projected timeline for custom project to sales team.
· Work with costing analysis to ensure SJ testing cost are present to management and update MPL list.
· Make suggestion for testing items based on inventory levels
· Negotiate the ocean and air freight rate on daily basis and analyze the cost impact for each purchase order.
· Analyze cost increase and work with costing team to make recommendations for any necessary changes.
· Work with product development to provide support as needed during sourcing process.
· Oversee custom purchase order from placement and production to point of delivery and invoice.
· Coordinate production and delivery schedule with China team for consolidation.
· Review and receive China inventory
· Work with Korean distributor and support as needed
· Review distributor costing and distribution ordering form.
· Approve booking on a daily basis based on information given.
· Generate out of stock report on a weekly basis
· Work with inbound team to schedule delivery based on inventory level.
· Oversee the count sheet and maintain/update on time.
· Recommend reallocation as needed
· Assign catalog review check to each procurement team member in order to ensure to catalog is done on time.
· Review catalog, inventory level and recommendation DISC item for next season.
· Prepare inventory report bi-weekly for management.
· Support procurement team for custom clearance as needed.
· Review wire list to approve any deposit and balance payment for vendor.
· Work with sales director for closed out buyer to provide costing as needed.
· Coordinate with China team to set up meeting as needed
· Oversee the testing process to ensure testing can be done within time frame.
· Review INDIA shipment schedule for consolidation.
· Assign team member to maintain MPL product file on a daily basis.
· Support sales team and procurement team as needed.

Education and Experience:
· A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, purchasing management or a related field of study.
· Prior work experience in procurement, preferably at least 2 years in supply chain management or 5 years in purchasing or procurement.
