This role is an exciting opportunity to join us and work within our Assurance Team. We are an integral part of Sky providing specialised support to over 400 processes across multiple teams to provide assurance on the accuracy of our systems and processes.
As a member of the Assurance Team, you will utilise big data and visualisations to support assurance activities across the department. Such as, invoice reconciliation and ensuring our customers are accurately billed for the correct services!
What you'll do:
  • Provide data analysis support for the Assurance Team as a whole.
  • Develop engaging and insightful visualisations that support the assurance activities of the wider team.
  • Effectively gather and understand requirements.
  • Build and maintain new and existing datasets.
  • Ensure data is accurate and presented in a manner appropriate to the audience.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all work.
  • Prioritise key tasks while still being able to shift to ad hoc tasks.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners.
What you'll bring:
  • Highly analytical with a passion for data and a proven track record of utilising data to back up findings.
  • Experience building and manipulating large and complex datasets.
  • Beneficial to have experience with Google Cloud Platform tools such as BigQuery and Looker Studio.
  • SQL and basic Python knowledge desirable.
  • Self-starter that is actively curious about what the data is showing us and able to develop actionable insights based upon this.
  • The ability to think creatively and pursue your own ideas.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present to different levels of stakeholders (including senior management).
  • Enquiring mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for knowledge. A quick learner.
