Job description
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in Access and Excel macro development for task automation.
- Able to validate data from multiple sources prior to ingestion into proprietary database.
- Apply quality assurance processes to provide accurate and timely data for infrastructure and operation assets.
- Conduct data analysis, queries, and extraction of information from a relational database.
- Lead and participate in research, architecture, and design of complex computer network systems to include customized applications, including assets, tools, configurations, and investments.
- Facilitate the analysis of program costs, schedules, risks, resources, and timelines and highlight attainment to business and strategic objectives for program activities.
- Research, develop, update, and maintain program of record documentation, including the preparation of remediation reports.
- Review and analyze tasks, schedules, and resources and make changes as appropriate.
- Review, analyze, measure, track, and evaluate weekly progress against the technical initiative and project plans.
- Support development of process flows and templates and use industry Best Practices.
- Provide support of contractual deliverables, including Weekly Status Reports, Monthly Status Reports, Quarterly Status Reports, and Assessment Reports.
- Attend meetings with government personnel and provide recommendations, as needed.
- Evaluate and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that include timely communication, documentation, and accurate record-keeping as determined by the government.
Requirements:
- Possess an understanding of infrastructure servers, networking, security, and storage devices.
- Possess an understanding of information technology acumen and processes in change, configuration, release, and asset management.
- Possess an understanding of relational databases.
- 5+ years demonstrated knowledge and experience using Federal or DHS systems.
- Ability to work on simultaneous projects effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to quickly recognize and prioritize competing tasks.
- Ability to establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with stakeholders at various organizational levels to support.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and research skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal skills, and good communication skills (verbal and writing).
- Detail and process oriented.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA Public Trust.
- Experience working in a government contracting environment.
